How We Work With Your Adjuster
We work directly with your insurance company. You get clear documentation and a line-item estimate; your adjuster gets the evidence they need to review the loss.
From video assessment to final invoice
Video assessment
We start with a live video call so we see the damage right away and can tell you what to do first.
Document everything
Photos, video, moisture readings, measurements and 3D documentation of every affected area – before and during the work.
Line-item estimate
An itemized, insurance-format estimate, room by room, so your adjuster can review each line instead of a single lump sum.
Review with you
We go over the estimate with you so you understand what's being done and why.
Answer the adjuster
We answer your adjuster's questions about our scope and provide supporting photos, drying logs and readings.
Documentation that holds up
Photos & video
Every affected room, the source of the loss, and the work as it happens.
Moisture readings
Readings on wet and dry reference points, logged on each visit until materials are dry.
Drying records
What equipment was placed where, and for how long.
Line-item estimate
Itemized by room with quantities and measurements, in a format insurers use.
What we do
- Document the damage thoroughly
- Write an itemized estimate for the work
- Discuss our estimate with you
- Answer the insurance company's questions about our scope
- Bill your insurer directly with your written OK
What we don't do
- Negotiate or adjust your claim (that's a licensed public adjuster's role)
- Give advice on what your policy covers
- Pay, waive or rebate your deductible
- Pressure you to sign anything on the spot
Maryland limits what contractors may do on insurance claims. We follow those rules – it protects you.
Insurance FAQ
Do I have to use the contractor my insurance company suggests?
In general you can choose your own contractor. Check your policy or ask your insurer if you're unsure.
Will you negotiate my claim for me?
No. Maryland law allows only licensed public adjusters to negotiate or adjust a claim for a homeowner. We document the damage, write our estimate, discuss it with you, and answer the insurance company's questions about it. If you want someone to represent you, you can hire a licensed public adjuster.
Can you pay or waive my deductible?
No. Offering to pay, waive or rebate a deductible is prohibited in Maryland, and we don't do it. If you need help with your deductible or anything insurance won't cover, ask about 0% financing options on approved credit.
What if the insurance estimate is lower than yours?
That happens. We'll walk you through the differences line by line and answer the adjuster's questions about our scope with photos, readings and measurements. Decisions about your claim stay between you and your insurer.
Can you bill my insurance company directly?
Yes – with your written authorization, we can send our invoice to your insurance company. You'll always know what's been billed.
